Sambist Fighting Academy Shines at British Open Sambo Championship

Last Saturday, fighters from Sambist Fighting Academy competed in the British Open Sambo Championship in Folkestone, joining athletes from 12 other countries in an intense display of skill and power.

A Strong Team Performance

Eight of our warriors represented the academy, each delivering an impressive performance that thrilled the crowd. Demonstrating strength, technique, and dedication, five of our fighters emerged as medalists, solidifying our reputation as one of Britain’s top Sports Sambo teams. Leading the charge, our Head Coach, Oleg Sibilev, was crowned British Champion in his weight category for the second consecutive year!
