We are excited to announce that Sambist Fighting Academy has been invited to compete at the DSI Dutch Open SAMBO Championships 2025 on March 8 in Dalfsen, Netherlands. Five of our talented athletes will proudly represent England at this prestigious international event.

About the Dutch Open SAMBO Championships

Held at the Trefkoele Plus arena, this tournament attracts sambists from across Europe and beyond. Participants range from young newcomers to experienced masters (veterans), creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. Organized by Sportcentrum Emsland and Budo Promotion Ommen under the KNKF/Dutch SAMBO Federation, the event promotes SAMBO globally and strengthens international sports ties.

Five dedicated members of our club will step onto the mats, showcasing the discipline and determination that define our team. This is an incredible opportunity for our athletes to test their skills against competitors from diverse countries and backgrounds.

Preparations are in full swing, with focused training sessions designed to refine technique and strategy. Competing at the Dutch Open is not just about winning medals; it’s about growth, learning, and building connections within the global SAMBO community.
